Shipping, Delivery + Returns
Shipping Rates and Calculations:
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the destination, weight, and dimensions of your order.
Processing Time:
Please allow up to 5 business days (M-F) for standard order processing. Once your order has been processed, it will be shipped within 2-5 business days (it’s a team of one 🫶🏾). You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched. If you have not received an automated confirmation number, please email
Delivery Time:
Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. Typically, orders are delivered within 7-10 business days after dispatch. Please note that unforeseen circumstances such as weather delays or carrier issues may affect delivery times.
Damaged or Defective Items:
While we take every precaution to ensure your items are packaged securely, accidents can happen during transit. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. While we are unable to offer a refund, we may be able to arrange for a replacement of equal value to be shipped to you for free within 4-6 weeks. We will require a photo of the item as well as the packaging to asses whether you are entitled to a replacement (all info must be sent within 24 hours of delivery). Please note that due to the nature of our products being thrifted or vintage, exact replacements may not be available. However, we will do our best to provide you with an item of similar design (I.e. color, art design, etc.). Additionally, the replacement can have a different material, country of production, etc.
Lost or Missing Packages:
In the rare event that your package is lost or missing, the best option would be to contact the carrier service. If multiple attempts have failed and the carrier proves the package is lost, we will replace it with a similar item(s) of equal quality and value that will arrive in 6-8 weeks.
Refunds:
We are unable to accept return or exchanges at this time. All sales are final. Please read above for other options.
International + Non-continental US Shipping:
At this time, we only offer shipping within the continental U.S. Hopefully we expand in the future.
Liability:
Once your order has been dropped off with the carrier, we are not liable or responsible for any damages, theft, or loss incurred thereafter. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is accurate, safe and secure. We are not able to reroute, stop or change shipping information once it has been dropped off with the carrier (you will have 2 hours to update your shipping information by emailing hi@laceandlanterns.com with your order number and new info). We will not offer refunds for packages delivered to the wrong address - please double check your shipping information before checking out.
